Yea, but only because of bad marketing and half-fledged plans! (a sane person with a want to save his investments would a) seal the real weak spot where you can get in and blow it up with some heavy blast doors, some autocannons, and some areas where you could only crawl through - and then spread wrong information of the weak spot: one that will bring the intruders right into "the crushionator" and b) if I had force field technology, I'd put the generators WITHIN the field. :D)

Meet my weapon!

Here's one for chewing up the mooks (or pcs). I have a question about guns like this. If a gun is auto do you always target a 10'x10' area and shoot 10 rounds?

Gun Weight: 30 lbs (14 kg)
Ammo Weight: 35 lbs (16 kg) per 1000 rounds
Battery Weight: 7 lbs (3.5 kg) for 1000 rounds fired
Caliber: .223 NATO.
Overall Length: 39 inch (100 cm).
Action: Electrically Powered Gatling.
Mode of Fire: Full Auto Only.
Range: 1,000 feet (300 meters).
Magazine: 1000 round Backpack.
Cost: $ 25,000 for the Minigun alone.
Made in: USA.
Special: Immense firepower, coupled with a incredible intimidation factor. Military issue only!

About autofire and targets:

The normal course is to target the 10x10 area, defense 10, ref DC 15 negates. 10 Bullets
With Burst, you can fire 5 Bullets only, and target a single enemy, taking -4 on the attack and adding 2d to the damage.
With Burst and a weapon with burst setting, it's as above, but with 3 bullets.

You can also use the normal attack (10) bullets to attack a single enemy, but then it's a normal attack and you waste 9 bullets (I'd also houserule it that you could use the burst setting of certain weapons to make a normal attack with 3 bullets, since it's no knack, but a setting of the weapon. You won't be able to use the burst as effeciently as the Burst feat users, but you don't have to waste all those bullets.)

Hmm.....can i dual wield these?:D

Sure if you could hold the gun, ammo, and power pack for both of them in one arm. And then try to stay on your feet without getting your arms ripped off. =o)

Those things are serious business. When shot from a helicopter they make flying the helicopter harder on the pilot while they are being fired.

To actually introduce a minigun game stat wise into D20M would be hard. With something that can go through the full 1000 rounds of ammo in just a short few seconds the lethality is insane.

To answer this I would have to point to a line from Blade 1. "Mother&^$^# are you outta your damn mind?"

I'm not sure about this but even if it is true it seems fine to have it in a game like this. After all the Former Governor of Minnesota used one fine. I think that I may have some soldiers use some against my players. :D

Well, no. But I'm thinking "cinematic" and "heroic". I'm also thinking I could modify this to be like the crotch gun from Dusk Til Dawn.

I'd spend an action point to kick the GM in the twig and berries if he did something like that.
