My first attempts at mapping

For some reason, I liked your first map better. Maybe it's because there are less geographical features on this map, which make the icons stand out a bit. And made the first region more interesting and appealing. And the border keep itselfs seems a bit out of proportion on this map, shouldn't it be a bit smaller?

Hmm, you are right, it probably should be smaller. What I did here was a simple zoom in on a portion of the map, adding in the newer features (ruins and nomad camps) without altering anything else
