If you are allowed to switch stats, I would switch the Wis and the Cha.

What skill are you planning on Skill Focus'ing? And most important, don't forget your spells =v)

Yes you should switch the wis and cha scores if you can. Do not take these feats though. Try taking feats such as Spell Focus (chosen scholl) or even Versatile spellcaster , a feat from races of dragon. As far as the spells you will choose are concerned , open many books and find the best. Not just whatever is on PH.

Things you have done wrong include using the human sorcerer starting package. Follow the guide I wrote (it's in my sig) for how to build a proper sorcerer.

At the very least, swap Wis and Cha, pick something useful other than Toughness (Spell Focus for a school of magic that you plan to use a lot, for example) and pick from the following spells if you're limited to core only.

Mage Armor
Grease
Ray of Enfeeblement
Sleep
Color Spray
Magic Missile

I recommend Grease and Sleep myself, though you'll quickly want to drop Sleep and re-learn a spell in its place when you reach the appropriate level. 6 I believe.

Thanks guys but this isnt for a campaign as such just a character build and ive changed my character to a dwarf warrior saves the hassle of spells and such but i will have a look at your guide to making a sorcerer.
