My first DM experience!

Today was my first day being a DM for two friends who don't play rpgs. :D I was using the Adventure Game box and went through 2 adventures! After it was done, they said that they had fun and mentioned that after they finish the box set, that they would like to try another one, and said that they wouldn't mind trying full 3e!

I'm really exicted about this, because all the while I've been into rpgs and D&D, I felt that buying the books and never playing was a waste of the money. :( But from the two adventures that they tried today, that's enough for me to rethink that my books are worth it now. Heck, even the first adventure they tried was enough to justify the books!

Can you tell I'm excited?:p

:) Congrats, Anime-K! :)

The Rules Forum will likely be your best friend and your biggest nightmare for the next few months. A couple of words of advice? Don't let a few frustrated souls that smack you around for asking questions they've seen dozens of times deter you from asking them. There will always be a some good folk that will come along and give you the help you need. Be sure to give the current threads a good looking over before posting a question since you might find that it has been recently asked and answered.

Good luck and let the dice fly high! :)

Cool - that's great! :)

Not sure about using the ENWorld Rules forum though, I've found many of the people who hang out there to be a bit unpleasant. If you have problems, use your own judgement, have a look at the FAQ/Sage Advice on the WotC site (but take it with a pinch of salt - it's not always good advice), and if you're thinking of changing (Rule-0ing) something, the House Rules forum is pretty friendly. :)
