I just tried to participate in that open forum web chat for Green Ronin. i felt like i was trying to hold a conversation in a room full of screaming children. Are all web chats like that, or was this an exception?
The Gygax chat went like that because a certain cat miscommunicated the time frame .
Course, I'm the one who got yelled at when attempting to reign it into a moderated chat.
Of course, that's why I don't bother with the moderated chats anymore .

As a clarity note, the mod chats are usually alot better than either the Gygax incident and Pramas. They run well when you don't bad luck (routers) or weird geeks who talk through their plush pokemon (me) trying to handle the chat .
Thanks for the PR, Rei. And, here's some really good news:
Wednesday, January 14th at 7:00 pm CST, Chris Pramas from Green Ronin Publishing will be in EN World's Official Chat Channel, #dnd3e for a moderated chat. The disconnect problems are fixed and Chris has been kind enough to give us a do-over. For those of you using IRC clients, point them to server psionics.no-ip.com or to chat on the web, click #dnd3e above. Chris will be fielding questions from those in attendance and discussing plans for 2004.
