These maps are inspiring me to write up a new setting. Its so far seems to be based on the conflict between law and chaos, not good and evil.
 


Lets see... I drew and colored them first, each one at a time. Then I scanned the four of them together, and combined them in photoshop elements ('cause I'm too poor to afford photoshop pro). Then I corrected any coloring errors and filling errors. I took my time, and did in almost two weeks, although I could probably do it in less time if I wanted to.
 



I really like this map. I would like to know more about how you came about doing this map. I've been struggling to make one for my own setting but just cannot do it. I did have a few questions: What do the different colors mean? I get the desert, what are the dark blue? Seas, lakes, ? The different shades of green. Thanks .
 

This is a really good map, I never have the courage to draw maps on paper as I don't want to muck them up and loose all of what I put down.

The only problem I have is the third part looks like its at right angles to the rest of it, and a bit blocky, just form an aesthetics point of veiw, mind you, no sound geological reason it can't be like that.
