My Retailer was Nerfed!

Whichever company is in charge of west coast D&D distribution should be fired. Everytime a new wotc book comes out, my poor FLCS gets jacked in their order, in small and large ways.

The issue today? 3.5e. We got two boxes of monstermanuals, one of DMGs, and a few with mixes of the three. But no dedicated PHB box. All the pHBs that he got, in display boxes or whatever, were allocated to preorders like mine. But tomorrow the general public will be able to get all the DMGs and MMs they want. hell, some preorders might actually get screwed out of PHBs.

And PHBs sell more than either of the other books combined.

My FLGS owner will be complaining for months about how WoTC decided "at the last second" to move the release date from the 11th to the 18th...nevermind the fact that they changed the date months ago. Apparently they forgot to tell his distributor or his distributor forgot to tell him or something, but he's livid.

My wife's store is missing just one case of PHB's but got a case of DMGs in response. It all goes on sale at Midnight
