I'm one of those buyers with a serious prejudice against .PDF products. I won't go into my reasoning here, since (a) it's off topic, (b) it may be UNreasonable by now, based as it is largely on the pricing of e-books from one particular (non D&D, non-20) publisher a few years ago.

I picked up 16 products from RPG Now yesterday: two Free items, eleven books discounted for GM Day and -- what the heck, as long as I was there -- three at regular price.

At an averaged price of $3.50, I figured it was hard to go wrong. Will this make me a .PDF convert? Probably not, but look for me again next GM Day.

I'm glad to hear that you gave the medium a second chance, and am very interested to know if you may have changed your opinion of PDFs having given them another look.
