I've got a question that I have yet to see an answer to on any WHFRP3 review: the game is said to be designed for 1 GM and 3 players. What if you have more players, like 6 instead of 3? Does buying a 2nd box set remedy this by doubling the cards and so on to keep the game balanced? Do they address this in the rules? Could the game function just as well with less or more players using 1 box?

The only limitation I see is the dice, we are starting off playing with 4 players, and we can definitely acommodate more. So you will either need to buy more dice from FFG, which still looks to be unavailable, or adapt numerical dice to the task. I suugest buying/using dice of similar color though if you use numbered dice. IE blude d8's, black, white, and yellow d6's, etc...

Or just pass the dice around the table.

The game is not based on a certain party size. The material is for 3 players, but could also be used by 4 players. An extra boxed set definitely remedies that.

There are no balance issues with more players, other than the directly implied ones (i.e. you need more monsters to challenge them ;)).

Might not be available yet, but I have definitely seen them announced.

Tossing the dice to the center of the table and using them together should be no big deal at all.

The cards might actually be more of a limiter, since you need to set them out in a certain way, and there might just not be enough of them for some cases.

Played this today for several hours. I am about to start playing in another game, so actual impressions, etc.... will have to wait. For now I will tell you that over all I think I am going to like it.

For the demo I ran for Emperor's Decree, I put the 9 basic cards in a sheet and photocopied it.

They don't have differences between Conservative and Reckless Stance, so it works out.

You don't *need* another box, but it definitely would make life easier for everyone. Duplicate talents and careers then too. But you can also handle all that with a extra sheet of paper, to be honest.

I plan on starting a game of this up soon.
