I'm so proud of her. 
I am slowly but surely geekifying her. Her handle is "Emerald"
So what made her finally join Enworld? I started a PbP game and was talking about it. She started to get interested.
"Do you think I could run a game like that?" asks she.
"Sure!" says I, secretly overjoyed. She has been a D&D player for some time, but been to insecure to try DMing. I think the anominity of the internet appealed to her. As well as having as much time as she needs to look up rules before posting.
She's browsing the General Forum right now.
She's well on her way to becoming a Enworld addict. It's so touching.
The only snag - she hasn't gotten her confirmation email yet (after registering several hours ago), so she can't post. This is irking her, and believe you me, you don't want her to be irked. If an Admin happens to read this, could you speed things up a bit?
She is dipping her toes into the world of DMing somewhat timidly. She plans on running an old module, with me helping convert the monsters to 3rd edition. If any of you want to play a PbP game, keep an eye out for her post, but be gentle. Don't go scarin' her off with sneaky player tricks.
