Myth Drannor

Hello all. I'm looking for adventures to have for my campaign that involve the PC's going to Myth Drannor. I thought there was an adventure or two in there?

I have found The Ruins of Myth Drannor but it isn't an actual adventure/module. Are there any around cause thats what i'd like to play and i recall playing in one before but don't know what its called..

Thanks guys. I was looking for this in a pdf to buy also...

Pool of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor (or something like that; never can remember which title is the CRPG and which is the P&P adventure...) is apparently a 2E/3.0E mix. Not out of print yet.

Then you can always buy Ruins of Myth Drannor, which does have some adventures in it, though it's set in 2E. But you say you've got that already...

That's all I can suggest--aside from some background material (Cormanthyr: Empire of Elves, The Fall of Myth Drannor, Netheril: Empire of Magic, Volo's Guide to the Dales, Volo's Guide to Cormyr... all of these are ESDs available for free download on wizards.com, along with about 25 to 30 others).

Ruins of Myth Drannor has a booklet of specific adventures for use in the overall environment. Also "The Halls of the Beast-Tamers" and "Lashan's Fall" (1987 Forgotten Realms Campaign Set); Pool of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor.

Cormanthyr, The Fall of Myth Drannor, Elminster in Myth Drannor, The Temptation of Elminster, Spellfire, etc. should provide further inspiration.

Ha, pipped.

Also, Ruins of Myth Drannor had a bunch of cards for specific locations, in addition to the adventure booklet.

The PDF version doesn't seem to be too bad. Cheaper than trying to buy an equivalent-quality boxed set, with all the troubles of storing it...

Not a 2E/3E mix, it's most certainly 3E, but written using a pre-release version. Pretty well written though, I give 4 of 5 personally.

My Ruins of Myth Drannor doesn't have any actual adventure/modules other than history and ideas... I was hoping for a nice module so that I could have good descriptions of specific ruined houses etc and I can always add to it but its the descriptions and stuff that i want..

Thanks for the help so far

Oh to add to this... I can't seem to find a pdf downloadable version of attack on myth drannor... anyone can gimme a link to one?

The Attack of Myth Drannor is a mix of the two rules, because it has some items (I forgot which) that were in 2e but 3e did away with when the core books came out. Yes most of the stat's in it for NPC's are 3e, but some of the magical items are 2e.

And the module is still for sale, so it might not be available as a ESD.

I'm currently running a campaign in Myth Drannor. I found the following helpful:

The Ruins of Myth Drannor: Very helpful for running modern day Myth Drannor.

Cormanthyr:Empire of the Elves: Gives more detail on Myth Drannor. Use it in conjunction with The Ruins of Myth Drannor and you should be able to develop some detail about Myth Drannor's buildings and environment.

Pool of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor: Some updated info on the Mythal and a few detailed buildings. The module isn't too bad either though I didn't run it.

Races of Faerun web enhancement: There is a detailed description of a tower that resides in Myth Drannor.

Hope this helps. I also updated the Mythal to 3.5. If you want to use it, drop me an e-mail and I'll send you the file.

If you mean, Pool of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor, released early in the reign of D&D3E, you're out of luck. It's available only in print.

If you mean, Ruins of Myth Drannor, released under AD&D2E, it's available here:

http://store.yahoo.com/svgames-store/tsr1084esd.html ($4.74, unfortunately; not one of the items for sale at $3.99)

Hope that helps. If you want links to the free downloads on the Wizards site, let me know...
