5 out of 5 rating for Mythic Britain
Has the flavour of Bernard Cornwell's Warlord Chronicles and adds some fantastical and mythic elements from British Druidism and early British Christianity. The campaign represents British druidism as animists in touch with the spirit world of Britain (Annwyn), in philosophical opposition to the new religion of the Christian church and the existential threat of the invading Saxons. The campaign has details for PC character creation drawing from one of the many Celtic tribes of Britain based on a plausible historical picture of 6th century Britain. A good chunk (about a third) of the supplement is a full campaign in the form of a series of adventures ranging across Britain using familiar characters of the period.
