[Mythic Dreams] New Advanced Class for Dark Inheritance

Our web update today is a new d20 Modern Advanced Class for the mythic horror setting, Dark Inheritance.

This class looks cool.

I like the counterstrike ability and that you can cast spells without having to worry about any componets. I picture a Bruce Lee kind of guy doing things like the Windmill Hands thing (ie Displacement) heheheh.

Thanks Melkoriii. We really like the new Action Point mechanic in d20 Modern. It really allows the creation of unique abilities, such as Counterstrike, that were difficult to balance before. We also wanted to have the AdC use spells but it didn't make sense for them to do all the mumble jumble so we limited them to a range of Personal and forced them to spend spell slots to activate the AdCs special abilities.

With the Eldritch Monk you can easily mimic the powers from Hong Kong Action movies.

I love the advanced class. I just got my copy of d20 Modern today and it looks like this class tugs on the boundaries... in a good way! This class seems to be the magical kung fu warrior! If my DM would get off his ass and start running d20 Modern, this is who I wanna play

Are you trying to focus more on physical power than mystical might?

Man, spring's a long ways off though. Can you give us some more info on the game? I would like more classes. And more stuff on what Birthrights are.

Dark Inheritance is going to be incredible. We have some really top notch writers working on it, including Wil Upchurch (the lead developer for Fantasy Flight Games' Legend and Lairs series), Sam Witt (author of Encyclopedia Arcane: Chaos Magic, Quintissential Psychic Warrior, and contributing author to Path of Magic), Aaron Rosenbergy (a fantastic writer who's worked with the big boys in the industry), and Gareth Hanrahan (one of the authors of Blue Planet's Natural Selection and the incredible Nobilis rpg).

Man, spring's a long ways off though. Can you give us some more info on the game? I would like more classes. And more stuff on what Birthrights are.

Thanks Brutorz Bill. It was a difficult choice deciding which AdC to post. There will be 6 - 8 all new Advanced Classes in Dark Inheritance and we're making sure they can be used in any modern fantasy setting, not just Dark Inheritance.
