Mythic exemplar (Complete Champion excerpt)

WotC has posted the Mythic Exemplar PrC as part of their Complete Champion excerpt. In the 10th level ability, this line stood out to me: "In addition, you are under a permanent freedom of movement effect, unless the spell level of the impeding effect exceeds your character level."

Is the bolded part really as useless as I think it is? Or am I missing something? Again, this is the 10th level ability of a PrC, so no matter how quickly you meet the prereqs, there's no possible way for the character to be 8th level or lower.

I think they probably meant to talk about the impeding effect's caster level, not spell level.

It ain't just you, pawsplay.

Rogues can get in at 4th, while everybody else takes till 5th. And only two of the pre-req skills are on its list, knowledge (history) (pre-req 3 ranks) and knowledge (religion) (optional pre-req 7 ranks).

They can, however, add four class skills from a prior class to their skill list. Whether or not you use that to add Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Move Silently to your list is one thing, but you certainly have the option to do so if you wish.

I really like the class myself.

Don't you mean 5th for rogues, too? Everyone has to meet at least one of the "7 ranks of one skill" prerequisite. The only way you can have 7 ranks of a skill is to be a 4th level character. Thus, nobody is eligible until 5th level, right?
