Naked Giants???

Well, it is somewhat quirky, but then again, I had a character who met a giant lady once too, which I'll get to in a minute. As long as nobody is going into graphic detail and it's all 'wink wink nudge nudge' I don't see it being a problem unless someone at the table specifically thinks it is.

As for my charcter, it was during the Return to the Tomb of Horrors, when you try to find Desato's mountain fortress and it's controlled by a family of mountain giants.

I asked the party if given the chance to parley, we should take it, instead of the usual kill and loot. So we managed to get the matron alone without other giants at one point. Fortunately I was "equipped" with a couple potions of growth or whatever they were called in 2E.

Though it had potential to be a dangerous "encounter", it was much less dangerous than pretty much everything past that.

Do not let this character contract lycanthropy, especially not from a weretiger.
Do not let him near any barmaids.

Here's why.

EDIT - Changed link to reach post directly. Thanks, Darkness!

Have a male giant dressed up as a woman, then have a group of the region's most popular bards walk by as the Duelist makes his discovery.

Headline form the Daily Minstrel:

Sir Rodriguez In Giant Sex Scandal (WOman Was Giant, Scandal Is Average Scandal Sized). SHOCK HORROR PROBE!

SHOCK HORROR PROBE!

First thing that springs into my mind, "OKay, you've been probed.. you take *roll* 4 points of electrical damage, and give me a dc 14 will save to avoid the fear effect."

Has that character (or the player) accepted to explain why he feels the need to unclad those giantesses? If not, then, I think his fellow adventurers' gossip in the next tavern will start to make him quite a reputation as a freaky weirdo -- a reputation that will not help his normal-sized-womanising ways.

And an even better link!

(Well, the reason it's better isn't obvious, unless you hit reply-with-quote. There's also a thread version.)

Hong has the best one-liners. I have to steal this one.

But don't you need to kill him before you can steal his stuff?

Wow. Is this new to this version of vb board or would it have worked with previous versions as well? 'cause this is the first time I've ever seen it, anywhere. On the other hand, unless you quote or edit the post, it looks like the long version so it's easy to overlook.
*wanders off to try that in NKL and rpg.net*
