Name those mephits!

Since "Archon" and "Mephit", are both of Greek origin, I went with that.

Fire: Kafteros ("Burning")
Steam: Molusis ("Scalding")
Magma: Anatexis ("Melting")

I don't know about Drew, but I LOVE those names!

Well, these selections aren't really up to me. Its ultimately my player's decision. I'll pass this thread along to him though. Mordane76s are pretty good, and I really dig Maerdwyn's greek suggestions as well.

Zappo, that's a good idea. The only problem with that is we want names that can easily be recalled and used during sessions. Perhaps I'll encourage my player to give his mephits big, outlandish titles in addition to cool yet easy to remember names.

Good names all of them, but I hardly think the Eumenides (that's smooth breathing, epsilon, upsilon, mu, epsilon, nu, iota, delta, epsilon, sigma for all you bad spellers out there ) are truly elemental. Now, if he had three dretch following him around . . .

Don't know about the others but you should name the fire one Nicodemus, don't know why, just seems right.
