Naming a bad guy help

What kinda BBEG are we talkin' here?

You said you have your "Sauron"...do you liteally mean your BBEG is some disembodied ages old evil/spirit of corruption and malignancy trying to take over the world?

In which case I would give you/have "lieutenants" that are liches, giant kings, ancient dragons, maybe a death knight, etc...

Or are we talking some kind of immortal demon prince/tyrant? In which case demons, half-demons, demonic creatures, demonic casters/conjurers of various ilk and power level are the way to go...

Ancient vampire? His lieutenants are obviously all vampires or other [more free-willed] undead or undead-groupies (like powerful necromancers, powerful NPC mortals who may or may not be under the vampire's charms, etc...).

Or some earthly Baron Badass after the kingdom? So his lieutenants probably are some kind of master thief/assassin, a wicked witch/seeress/wizard kinda guy, and obviously the dark priest who leads the cultists that are trying to get raise him to immortality, some ogre-barbarian or otherwise advanced warrior type to lead his guards/armies, etc...

So...the kinds of lieutenants, thus their pseudonyms, can be very different depending on the actual Big Bad.

I have been thinking and I have slightly redesigned them a bit, The Dark Lord is a Human who wants to raise six very powerful Demon Lords (if anyone has played Diablo 3, or any Diablo but I have only played 3) and has raised his lieutenants from the dead as bodies for these Demon Lords.

I am still working on the lieutenants before and after they are raised but something akin to Lord of Lies reborn in the body of a person who never told a lie but was killed because the law enforcer didn't believe him OR one that lied ALOT and was killed because of that.

He has all but one of his lieutenants so the party can either go and kill his choices or try to find the sixth and either protect them or kill and consecrate the body. I have the Sadist lieutenant, the Cannibal lieutenant, the Lord of Fear and the Lord of Lies (although I'm not sure about any of them, especially the Demon Lords so I have just ripped them from Diablo) but I only decided on it today so I'm still working on it :)

I don't know if The Seven Deadly Sins is cliche or not but I do like the idea of Wrath (Sadist), Greed (Dragonslayer), Sloth and Pride maybe or maybe have the lieutenants being bloodlines of houses that have crests involving animals, lieutenant descends from a house with a Bear on their Crest is now a Werebear.

EDIT: The Lieutenants aren't Demon Lords yet, all six need to be raised first, and they are probably Human, or some exotic Human but I don't know maybe something else

I have this so far:

The Inquisitor (Human who enjoys torturing people and has magic which can revive people without their permission (I didn't know people can say no to being revived)). He works for the Dark Lord because he enjoys torturing his many enemies and, as the evil commander, he isn't going to run out of those any time soon.

The Scarred (Orc Barbarian who leads a tribe that believes in ritual scarring, cutting themselves to gain dark powers or harden their skin). He works for the Dark Lord because he believes the spirits told him to, whether that was an illusion created by the Dark Lord or what is unknown but he believes it.

The Wolf (Elven Druid who favours ambush tactics, enjoys releasing prisoners and stalking them before attacking and killing them with her many animal companions, Dire Wolves/Fel Hounds/etc.). She works for the Dark Lord because she sees him as the Alpha Wolf of her pack.

The Lady (Never seen directly, her champions refer to themselves as "the Lady" so it is assumed she can guide their actions directly, by possession or telepathy is unknown, little is known about her or even if she really exists).

The Immortal (A humanoid Lich Cleric, original race unknown since s/he has become a stitched mass of different victims, he leads research and experimentation of new spells/inventions and creation of new undead soldiers, he has been seen and killed several times and is either replaced or revived because he appears days later elsewhere). He works for the Dark Lord because he has the Immortal's Phalectory.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Mistakes? :P

I thought to try to vary the powers and ideas as much as possible. I am still working on the Demon Lords though.

Just for giggles:

The Veiled Threat, stealth figure, expert in blackmail and extortion.)

Baron Wasteland, the barbarian raider, known for his tendency to burn everything to the ground when he leaves.

And his crew are:
General Destruction

Major Catastrophe.

Corporal Punishment.
(I think you could figure those three out).

I think you get the idea. :)

Captain Crunch.
