Natural threats in a mine

New monsters are always fun.. What about.. Undead Canaries with gaseous breaths, who attack anyone looking like miners, and enter an undead rage if they see anything that looks like a cage? :)

The tailings from mining operations can leech toxic substances such as arsenic into water (poisonous water). The leeching can be the result of sulphur in the mined rock, when exposed to water and air, becoming sulphuric acid, so acidic pools would not be out of the question. Hope the party brought spare boots...
