I like it. However, there is a spelling error on the sheet. "Defenses" is spelled "DefenSes," not "DefenCes."

Right: "DefenSes"
Wrong: "DefenCes"

Odd... my dictionary says: "Defences" is right. :p

Though it should then read "Armour".

Cheers, LT.

Building a character sheet or journal is for a player as building a DM screen is for a DM. It is often personal, campaign specific, and more of an art form than a science.

Compare jedis crafting their own lightsabers.

For the record, I've been using the Landscape sheet ever since Logan first passed it around for us to check out. I also don't use power cards--just personal preference.

Moridin I dunno if you be allowed to answer this (though it isn't that big of a question, so hopefully should). With the character sheets, will there be larger/multiple page ones so we can spend more space writing down character descriptions, personality, drawing of character, etc, etc. Essentially how much RP-Character space is there on the Character Sheets?

I've been making my own sheets since the red box introduced me to the game.

I had never considered a landscaped sheet before. The closest it's come up in my gaming groups was a request by one of the players that I make my double sided 3.5 sheet printable on a 11" x 17" sheet so he wouldn't have to flip it over.

I'm half-way through my 4e design atm... but the more I think about a landscaped sheet, the more I like the idea. At least enough to try it and make a variant on my current design.

Should be a good experiment.

As for power cards... I've been using spell cards on 3 x 5s since 3.0 came out. Adapted them over the years for psionics, ToB maneuvers and DM quick reference sheets. Definitely worth while and useful. 4e will be my first outing attempting to make them playing card sized.

EDIT: Side note: I'm surprised at the the responses so far. I've never seen a landscaped layout for a D&D sheet in all the sheets I've downloaded, seen, etc... Where are all these landscaped sheets hiding?

I used a landscape sheet for TORG back in the day. Well, technically it was more of a portrait A5 sheet, only printed on one half of an A4 page with the other half left for whatever wackiness that particular character had going for him. This was kinda necessary due to the wide variety of abilities available in TORG: martial arts maneuvers, spells, cybertech, miracles, enhancement packages, weird science, pulp powers, wereforms, psionics, and I'm probably forgetting something.

So basically I had half a page of stuff everyone had (name, home cosm, axioms, stats, skills, damage, weapons, etc.), and half a page of empty where you could fill in whatever you wanted.

I'm with you, Shado.

I hadn't contemplating a landscape sheet before a couple days ago, myself. I just didn't think it was necessary, I suppose. That said, I think it turned out alright. I've been doing a couple updates here and there on it.

Currently my web provider is moving, so it's temporarily unavailable. I don't know how long. I'll upload the latest to an attachment here. Check the main post.

Thanks for catching spelling errors -- I'm not much of a linguist.

Keep 'em coming!
