well the ToH was certinly the best monster manual investment I have made. (and I believe I own all the hard cover monster books and beastiaries currently out for 3e)

Does the book of taverns come in hard cover? and if so can I get it through my local gaming store?

Book of Taverns is in soft cover, but perfect bound. You should be able to get it at your FLGS. Ask them to order it. We are carried by all major distributors (including Alliance). But your store might have us listed under Sword and Sorcery or White Wolf, rather than under Necromancer Games. That happens some times.

Not to predict what the judges will do, of course, but I will be shocked if Book of Taverns doesnt get nominated for an ENnie for Setting Supplement or Cartography. Ed's cartography in the book is unbelievable!!!
