Necromancer's Eldritch Sorcery

Wouldn't it be really cool if someone was in the process of designing an artifact-specific book for a major D20 company?

(No, I can't give more details. We're in the early stages. But don't give up hope.) :)

Are you going to GenCon? <--- bait

And don't dismiss Eldritch Sorcery because it's "just" spells. Everything I've heard about it is pretty cool.

I'll still buy it as soon as a spot clears in my budget

Indeed I am. Dunno yet if we'll be at a stage by then where I can talk about it or not, but if so, I'm happy to do so. :)

And the "don't dismiss" line wasn't directed at you specifically, but sort of a general comment. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

Some new spells were posted on Necro's boards:

http://p096.ezboard.com/fnecromancergamesfrm78.showMessage?topicID=10.topic

Here's one of the four:

Merge into Art
Transmutation
Level: Asn 3, Blk 3
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: Caster
Duration: 1 minute/level
Saving Throw: see text
Spell Resistance: No
You step into a painting, tapestry, or fabric mosaic large enough to encompass your height. Magic items, such as a magic painting, repel your efforts to merge. Your shape and form is woven into the picture or tapestry as if it were part of the original work, changing your coloration and form slightly if necessary. Someone studying the work of art may make a Spot check (DC = 15 + caster level or DC = your Hide skill check).
You are aware of your surroundings as if watching through a window, anything taking place beyond the borders of the artwork are beyond the scope of your vision. You cannot speak or cast spells while merged but you can exit the spell at any time during the spell’s duration. If you wait until the spell ends you are forced out of the picture. Damage of any type done to the tapestry or painting immediately forces you out dealing 1d6 points of damage and leaving you Dazed for 1 round.

Wondering if anyone has any advance knowledge on Necromancer's Eldritch Sorcery. Thier website and messageboards indicate it will be out soon, possibly even June 27.

i got a booklet from a few years ago...

Supplement III Eldritch Wizardry. :D

Considering what a Necromancer Games fanboy I am, I can't see me being able to resist the urge to pick this up. This in spite of the fact that the Complete Book of Eldritch Might book is my primary source of non-WotC spells and provides plenty of additional spells. At one point I used a bunch of other D20 spell collections, but it just got to be too much. I'll certainly give the book a long look though.

One question though, any chance we'll see some of the old GH spells from the GH Adventures hardback? I loved those spell, Nystul's spells in particular (especially the radiant baton).

I got my notice from amazon yesterday that it's being prepared to be shipped... whee!! :D

Now that is why I don't pre-order from Amazon (except in this case, where I am learning my lesson). I placed my order June 23, and it is not yet even preparing to ship, and they still list Eldritch Sorcery as not yet released. Curses!

and diaglo, I got that one too, but only in pdf.

I did post more information on the Necromancer Games forums. I guess Varianor already provided a link above.

As has been said, this is pretty much just a tightly focused book of spells, spells, spells.

Oh, and diaglo probably has me beat, I only have 2 copies of Eldritch Wizardry (Supplement III).
