Need 1st level adventure recommendation

I found "Transmuter's Last Touch" by Goodman Games to be quite a blast. Of course, that's partially because kobolds are my favorite monster as a DM.

The adventure is relatively simple. The party locates a lair and goes in. However, there are some really interesting things that the kobolds get up to in there. (I won't say what because of spoilers.)

Best of all, it's cheap. It's one of Goodman Games' $2.00 introductory modules.

We had a good time with it also. It can fit in well with any campaign as a little side trek and can easily have hooks into a larger adventure.

If you can get your hands on it, NeMoren's Vault is a great 1st level adventure and perfectly geared towards kicking off a campaign.

'Of Sound Mind" by EN World's own Kevin "Pirate Cat" Kulp, published by Fiery Dragon.

I've run this with great success and to great player accolades. Instead of psionics, I converted it to arcane magic (easily done and suggestions for how are in the module).

If you can get your hands on Dungeon #88, there's Thirds of Purloined Vellum in there, a nifty city adventure in Athkatla (Amn), with a little intrigue and investigative work for a merchant who is missing very important business contracts along with his aide. :D

I'm a HUGE fan of DCC28.

DCC35A is also great.

Overall, while I'm not a huge fan of the DCC series, there are some incredible gems in the set, and DCC28 is definitely near the top of the list.
