Need a good, cheap hex mapping program

Here's what I need: I need a program that can provide a hex map, and let me fill in the hexes with various terrain (ruins, buildings, rocky croppings, swampland, hard grass, etc) and then make a printable map.

I would prefer free or shareware as the money supply is tight right now. Are there any programs out there you guys know of?

Google "HexMapper" - it's free and there are extra hex sets that you can download for free as well.

No, I didn't know - "political affiliations" affect your choice of search engines?

I don't want to give offense, so I'll amend my suggestion: type "HexMapper" into the search engine of your choice.

actually when you first said it I thought you meant hexmapper was a part of google...not to actually search for it
