Need a good dragon name

It could be either sex and good or evil - I haven't decided that yet, just that it is powerful. I'm just drawing a blank on coming up with a decent original name for one, though.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

My historical fantasy game had a dragon by the name of Tien Ming. Aka - "Mandate of Heaven". She was the power behind the throne of the Chinese Empire and the primary decider of the empire's fate for the last few thousand years.

Randoblat the Queasy. Belches fire but it gives him an upset stomach and he prefers not too.

Chaan Patillima - an extremely vain (even by Dragon standards!) Silver Dragon. When she takes humanoid form it is always as an extremely beautiful Indian (from India) woman.

"Cockathewalk" Tandalin - a particularly amorous adolescent Green. Given to rather proud displays whenever he finds a female to show off in front of. He remains unfulfilled.

Heralgin of Loftspyre - an old and irrascible dragon who lives atop the eponymous pinnacle of stone that overlooks an important strait. Demands payment of (fairly reasonable) tariffs from passing shipping. Destroys pirates and other threats.

more anon.

Chuck Norris! ;)

No...

BRUCE LEE!!! (You know..."Enter the Dragon")

OK...seriously

Fang of Heaven
Sky Talon
K'Rhazzogarr
Eater of All
Cloud-raker
Deathroar

I've had quite a few dragons, but the one that immediately jumps into my mind is Paravashtacronox, a Great Wyrm howling dragon.

That's the one that comes first into my mind from my last two campaigns. I've had others, but with the exceptions of pseudo and faerie dragons, none of the others have had names less than like 20 letters long with at least one or two apostrophies (and not always then either).

I'm not counting Tiamat either, even though she showed up last session (manifesting in / possessing one of the PCs pseudodragon familiars)

About 5 years ago one of my campaigns ended up revolving around the attempt to stop one particular dragon named Rhumathradraxis. Although the players didn't even hear her actual name until about 3/4 of the way into the campaign.

Backstory: She was an Old Blue Dragon with the multiheaded & half-fiend templates. Sold as an egg to a cabal of wizards who experimented on her and warped her body and mind even before she hatched. Eventually due to carelessness she got the chance to escape as a Juvenile. Her first clutch of eggs were all either sterile or lethally deformed and she was so emotionally disturbed as a result she became like the draconic version of a catlady. Who raised young humanoid children that had been abandoned or abused as her own, took care of them. Then as they grew up sent them off to perform missions or handle problems for her. No one expects the humanoid enemies to genuinely love the evil overlord, or for the BBEG to show that she actually cared deeply for her "children."

Sharrukkin the Earth Dragon. The power beneath the throne of a great Mesopotamian-like city. An ancient, brooding beast, jealous of its power and presitge. It lives in the caves below the palace.

Dakarai the River Lord lurks in a river and takes his tribute from the local villages in the form of cattle. If left unappeased (usually this only happens during famines) he will sneak out of the river, search for the most beautiful boys and girls, charm them with his haunting piping and draw them back to the river to drown.

Kynathyria, a bronze dragon. The noble ally of a gnomish enclave.

Atchuaca, the Lightning Bringer. A Feathered Serpent and a powerful sorcerer. It's malign presence and were-jaguar servants haunt the jungle it calls its own.

Just last night, I used a random name generator to create a name for a randomly rolled (!) female Bronze Dragon. Her name is Tjamaladara. :)

are you looking for the name the dragon was given by its parent(s) or deity?
or one that other races (prey, worshippers, slaves) call it?
