Need a good one off rpg session for a family game

Getting a trip to see my grown children out of the blue (thanks to the wife for being required to do a training session).

We have decided to devote this Saturday afternoon (and potentially the evening) to a one off rpg. I will provide pre-generated characters - and there will be 5 pcs. All of us play and have some experience with rpgs. We have the materials for all editions of d/d (as well as several other rpgs).

Would want to use a published module or adventure of some type (alas I don't have time between now and Saturday to generate something on my own).

I want something fun and quirky with an interesting ending. I own all dungeon magazines (except the first 3) and so many other modules there is a decent chance I have it. If not - if its buyable, I expect i can get it or download it. Don't worry about conversion - or edition - I will probably convert to Pathfinder on the fly - looking more for something fun.

If anyone has a suggestion on a module they have played and/or enjoyed, I would appreciate suggestions

If you're not against (maybe) trying something new, and having to do a quick read-thru of a rule book, my one-shot advice almost always boils down to the same handful of suggestions.

Dread - Horror RPG where instead of rolling dice, people pull blocks from a Jenga tower.

Juggernaut - A game masterless conversation LARP where everyone is playing the part of a cold war era scientist or government official locked in a room with a codebreaking machine that's so good at its job that it can break codes before they're even written.

Durance - Not game masterless as much as it is everyone sharing the job of and taking turns at being the game master. A scifi, storytelling game where you're building a prison planet and telling a happy little story about the prisoners and prison guards and all the wonderful fun that they have together.

If all else fails, here's a list of all the past winners of the Kapcon Scenario Design Contest. These are all three(ish) hour roleplaying one shots, complete with pregens and handouts for a variety of different role playing games.

I've had great time running Savage Worlds Ghostbusters, and it works well as a one shot. There's a fantastic number of resources for a game here: http://greywolf.critter.net/ghostbusters.htm, including a scenario, but of course other scenarios would be pretty easy to come up with. In this case, the characters (there are pre-gens up there) are members of a new Ghostbusters expansion somewhere in Iowa, but of course any town would be fine.

As a one shot setting it works well since almost everyone knows and likes the Ghostbusters. Characters and interactions can be fun and funny and collateral damage is welcomed.

Any way you go, I hope it works out to be a great time for everyone involved!
