That is good to hear since the last time I was here I kinda let myself get involved with the d20 vs. Hârn discussion that unfortunately became very ugly (I was to blame myself...).

No. No one was to blame but KK/AngrikanFury, who couldn't say two sentences on the topic without being insulting. You were quite diplomatic by way of comparison; you just got caught on the wrong side of a storm of crap that KK was creating for himself and you.

I have nothing against Harn (other than to say it's not to my taste), despite what KK would have you beleive. I do have something against RPG elitists like KK, though.

I think the two most interesting settings out right now are Scarred Lands and Oathbound. Scarred Lands uses most of the familiar fantasy tropes and races, but has it's own strong sense of identity and isn't merely a Middle Earth or Greyhawk clone. A lot of unique history and supporting material.

Oathbound is less mature and a little more off the beaten path.

For that matter, why not play Middle-earth? ColonelHardisson and Co. have done a great job converting stuff into d20, and with the new game, you've got more info you can use. With the new movie poised to launch in a few months, your players are probably starting to get excited about it, too.
