Need a quick answer: damaging items, energy damage, and repairing magic weapons

Two quick questions for my game starting in three hours:

1 - Does energy damage bypass an object's hardness? (Including magic items?) I know it bypasses DR, which is kinda like hardness, but I can't find anywhere explicit that says it does.

2 - When repairing a damaged magic weapon or armor, do you pay 1/5 of: the base price of the item, or the base price + masterwork quality, or the base price + masterwork quality + enchantment cost?

Thanks!

1. No, hardness works against energy types. See also rules for damaging objects where some energy types are halved before being applied against hardness.

2. I don't know.

The Main FAQ used to say the force, acid, and sonic damage ignored hardness on one page, and that hardness applied on another.

It's since been corrected to say hardness applies in both places, with a note that "apply damage normally" is sometimes read to mean "without applying hardness", but it means "as normal for an attack on an object", as opposed to the other energy types where damage is divided before applying hardness...
