Need a social rogue PrC with arcane abilities

I need a PrC that focuses on rogue abilities (particularly the social skills), but has some arcane stuff tacked on. The Arcane Trickster isn't quite what I'm looking for. Suggestions?

Use Arcane Trickster for a little while to get into Mindbender from Tome and Blood. You can get a decent mix of arcane and social abilities, with some good bits of Rogue thrown in.

Or, go Rogue 3 (or 5)/Bard X.

why have a PrC at all? Why not just have a MC rogue sorc. The hisgh Cha will help in social skills and the rogue skill poinmts will help with ranks.

If nopt, you can always talk to your DM and mae one up to your liking. But k,now that these are usually underpowered compared to standard PrCs. Because most DMs are hesitant in giving powers out willy nilly.

But then again, some DMs are just givers...
:D

It may be a tad too modern for you, but the Arcane Aranger from Urban Arcana has a lot of social skills and arcane abilities. You probably would have to tone down the abilites for a medieval setting, but it shouldn't be too hard.

Yeah.

I mean, duh.

Except the frikkin bard has to SING to use his powers, which is effectively counter to what I'm trying to do as a rogue. Otherwise I'd just be a bard.

Thanks to everyone with a suggestion besides "duh" :p I'll probably go with a modified PrCl if the DM agrees. Otherwise I'll just say oh well and go MC or use Korimyr's idea.

Depends a bit. I think (at work, haven't got the books handy) that a bard has to perform rather than sing. So you could be able to talk to your GM about having a bard who used Perform (oratory), or Perform (raconteur) or even Perform (comedy). All depends a bit on what style of social skills you want to aim at.

Though obviously if your PC already has Wiz or Sor levels, then you'd be much better off going for a PrC with spell progression.
