Need advice on surviving assassination attempts on my character.

Thanks for all the great advice everyone i have 2 weeks almost to go through the books and decide what to do for sure. i already am wearing and sleeping in a mithral shirt +1 with medium fortification. problem now is i am over 100 miles from home 5 out of my 7 escorts had to be left at camp where the horses and most our stuff couldn't get. so i am kinda limited on what i can do for at least the start of the next session. i am also looking to try to find something i can give to my guards or a creature that can be paid or trained that has blindsense or some way of detecting intruders before they show up in my tent. i seen the carrion golem has it but the stench of the golem would just be to much i imagine. i have 2 5th level bodyguards and my familiars a pair of cacodaemon'sim also responsible for a majority of the healing in the party so that ties up allot of my spells.

I'm guessing all the henchmen are part of the Kingmaker campaign?

I'm not sure if a carrion golem is strictly neutral in alignment, but cacodaemons, even if they are your familiar, maybe not be the best things to hope to protect you from harm. Just saying.

I got him finally, i got him with true seeing and a wand of magic missile level 7, he was using a ring of flying and invisibility that's why we couldn't track him after he struck but he wasnt ready for my new investments and an assassin i hired to help me get him landed a few good hits after he struck and nearly killed me with a ranged attack. after my assassin struck him he tried to run and i pulled out the wand and finished him before he could get out of range.
