she doesn't do it all the time, usually just to introduce someone, she's apparently made like 110 random important encounters and we've only had like 17 of them, mind you they usually are ment to introduce new thing when the story get boring and i come across another bag of holding... one time i had like 28 of them and used them to hide the bodies to sell on the black market...

anyway i want skills that will be useful all the time, also did i hear i had to feint to use the beguilers ignore SR ability???

You just need the foe to be flatfooted. Greater Invisibility will work on most things that aren't spellcasters or demons. Throwing a grease spell under them also works well. Barring those, Blink works basically always. Greater Blink is better, though not an option to add to the Beguiler list.

Wow i just read the psion... wow does it seem like they phoned it in and based the class off of DBZ, from what I read, they lose power points quickly... sure i only have so many magic uses as a Beguiler, but magic seems alot stronger.

Anything based on Psionic power points, i fear i may run out of them and be useless.

The power of a spell is based upon it using a spell slot. Psionics are based upon having a pool and then using the psi powers however you fancy. This means that a manifester can spend all his points on 9th level spell equivalents, which means such powers have to cost a lot if they are to be balanced.

Yes, it can be difficult to start off with psionics, but once you get the hang of it you'll find it can be a pretty good system.

What character level are you guys currently at? You haven't said how powerful everyone is so far, so it's somewhat difficult to give you good recommendations until we know the expected levels.
