Need Help Converting 2 Magic Items

AFGNCAAP

First Post
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a bit of advice/help to convert a couple of magical items from 2nd Ed. (or, at least, which I haven't been able to find in any 3rd Ed. materials so far).

The items are:

*Ring of Truth

*Dagger +2, Longtooth: I figure this dagger would sort of work like the sunblade---is actually 1 type of weapon (dagger), works like another (short sword, for Small characters only), but counts as either for stat purposes (dagger or short sword for proficiency/feats/etc.).

Appreciate any help you can provide.

some ideas ...

Dagger +2 longtooth.

this seemingly normal +2 dagger (blah blah blah, er um Insert flavor text here)

--when in use by gnomes or halflings this dagger functions as a short sword (but is still considered a dagger) ... so yes on this part about similarity to the Sunblade (although only gahnomez or 1/2-pints)

--ignores the hardness of stone or wood (can easily carve out a large portion of that big wooden door ... )

[edit2]: -- vs wooden or stone creatures (ie stone golem) ... the weapon ignores: regen, fast healing (is that affected?), and DR

[edit]: Ring of truth ... how about a flat +10 to sense motive checks?

Longtooth: This weapon functions as a +2 dagger in the hands of anyone other than a halfling or gnome. To such a wielder, it elongates and functions as a +2 shortsword, except that proficiency in dagger or shortsword allows equal use of it and all the wielder's feats, skills and proficiencies that affect either the dagger or shortsword apply to the longtooth. Futhermore, a longtooth ignores the hardness of wood or stone, and against wood or stone monsters it ignores all damage reduction.

I haven't figured out the cost and stuff but I'll try to get around to it sometime reasonably soon...
