Need help picking a cloak for my Monk

Mirror image is nice... although here's an interesting question: What happens if you run up against an opponent with Great Cleave?

Unless your GM equates dispelling a Mirror Image figment with "If you deal a creature enough damage to make it drop (typically by dropping it to below 0 hit points or killing it), you get an immediate, extra melee attack against another creature within reach. You cannot take a 5-foot step before making
this extra attack. The extra attack is with the same weapon and at the same bonus as the attack that dropped the previous
creature. You can use this ability once per round", nothing much.

Continue rules debate.

It's a very rare case anyway. No spell is perfect, thank god. He wasn't asking "what cloak will make me immune to everything all the time," rather "what's a good idea for a cloak."

I always liked the Cape of the Montebank, but dislike that it is only usable 1/day. But since you have Abundant Step, you would be able to get yourself in somewhere, and then extracate yourself afterwards.

If your DM wants it kept simple, how about a Cloak of Displacement, Major (50K) with a clasp that is an amulet of Natural Armor +5 (50K). Total: 100K. Note: The clasp has to be worn in front in such a way as to take up the "Amulet" slot (no free rides on item slots).

I like the mirror image addition to the +5 cloak of resistance. Simple and effective. :)

Also, dark colors have a slimming effect. :D

Of course, most of us gamers already know that...for various reasons...like having read it somewhere...or something... ;)
