D&D 5E Need help picking a forgotten realms deity for a divine soul multiclass

Actually the Character is originally from Chult, she traveled to Baldur's Gate to try to join the Flaming Fist and when they would not have her she was picked up by the Chill. So there actually is a tie in here.
The warlock angle makes it even better. She's the chosen if Ubtao, whether she knows/likes it or not.

The issue with Warlock is there are no healing spells. What we really need a is a cleric and if she had a 13 wisdom she would multiclass into War Domain. Divine Soul is the next best thing for someone without a decent Wisdom.

What we really need healing word and spare the dying. A few other spells like Protection from good and evil and shield would be nice too of course.

The DM has a house rule regarding stabilizing PCs, if you fail your medicine check that counts as a failed death save, so it is pretty nerve racking trying to help downed PCs. Healing word or spare the dying would fix that.

You could ask the DM, maybe there is part of the story you can fit into, or can be worked into having the god find you. Perhaps the upcoming encounter with a NPC or discovery where a random god and you find each other. It would be good roleplay to have Sune or Eldath as your goddess.

Other than that, go with the dinosaur aspect from your background.

Isn't the divine soul a warlock subclass?

If not, that's what I meant.

Divine Soul is a sorcerer subclass. You're thinking of the celestial pact warlock, which, by the way, does include access to healing @ECMO3 .
Oops! That's the one.

Anyways I think it sounds like a cool idea (warlock or sorcerer, tbh). But then, I love warlocks and will work then in anywhere I can.

Or maybe it's just that I've come to find clerics redundant in the face of paladins, healing warlocks, and healing sorcerers.
