Need help solving a question

Hi all. I am hoping to get some thoughts about a question my DM and I are wondering over.

I am playing a Doomguide of Kelemvor in a 3.5 campaign. I am level 15, and my party and I are in a town that is run by a Vampire King and his spawn. We have been told that he is an "epic" level NPC and will be quite a challenging fight for our group, but with careful planning and a bit of luck, we can probably defeat him.

Now for the thing that has my DM and I perplexed: I have a Greater Strand of Prayer Beads, and one of the beads is a Bead of Summons. This allows me to "summon a powerful creature of appropriate alignment from the Outer Planes to aid the wearer for one day." That is a direct quote from the 3.5 DMG. Due to Kelemvor's alignment being LN, and that he lives on the Fugue Plane, what kind of creature would be appropriate to the faith that could be summoned? I do not get to dictate what kind of creature answers the summons (as far as I can tell), and I cannot find any references to what kind of outsiders would serve Kelemvor.

My intention is to be able to use the bead to summon an outsider that is hopefully powerful enough to help us slay the Vampire King.

Any thoughts are welcome, and I thank all that reply in advance.

I like the Marut suggestion, very appropriate. They're Constructs, yes, but they have the Extraplanar subtype, so you could go with that.

Other:

How about an advanced Formian Myrmarch (or an outright Queen, though that one isn't really mobile)?

Or some Axiomatic creature. I'd recommend an axiomatic version of one of the gem dragons (neutral alignment) in MM2, actually. Those are awesome!

dont have my sources handy, but IRC the yugoloths are LN Outsiders so perchance summoning one of their Baenloths (cr Semeska's(sp) storyhour) might be a viable option, albeit a costly one given their mercenary natures.

Yogoloths are NE and often described as even more despicable than even Demons or Devils, owing to their mercenary, backstabbing nature... not the right kind of "helpers", IMO.

Thanks for all the great replies everyone. Gives me lots of things to think and talk about with my DM. =)

The link you provided me with to the old EN World post doesn't want to work for me Thanael; it just sends me to the main forum page. Searched through it, and I couldn't find the thread you are suggesting. Not complaining though, just letting you know =).

Does anyone know if the Marut can be found in one of the Monster Manuals? Or just on that website?

Thanks again everyone.

That's ok...I found the monster description both in the 3.5 Monster Manual, and the Manual of the Planes.
