Need help with Archetypes

First Post
After some discussions on here I decided to add archetypes to my game. I am working up some archetypes for each tech level. Here are some examples but I was looking for some more suggestions. It's a generic system soi can be used for any genre.

Information Age Archetypes
Police (lv 5)
Swat (lvl 10)
Soldier (lvl 5)
Special Forces (lvl 10)
Paramedic (lvl 5)
Spy (lvl 10)
Student (lvl 1)
Jock (lvl 1)
Ganger (lvl 1)

I kinda think some of the levels of your archtypes might be a bit high. Generally, I tend to associate about 10th level with "name level" - when a person reaches pretty much the veteran professional level. With that in mind, these are what I'd expect to see (assuming a 20-level system like d20 modern)

Rookie Cop (lvl 1)
Beat Cop (lvl 3)
Veteran Cop (lvl 6)
Detective (lvl 9)
----
Militia/Recruit (lvl 1)
Grunt (lvl 3)
Veteran (lvl 6)
Grizzled Veteran (lvl 9)
----
Crook (lvl 1)
Gangbanger (lvl 3)
Burglar/Pickpocket (lvl 6)
Master Thief (lvl 9)
---
Agent (lvl 1)
Operative (lvl 3)
Spy (lvl 5)
Master Spy (lvl 9)
007 (lvl 15)
---
Bureaucrat(lvl 1)
City Official (lvl 3)
Governor (lvl 6)
Senator/Representative (lvl 9)
President (lvl 12)
---
High School Jock (lvl 1)
State Champ (lvl 3)
Semi-Pro Athlete (lvl 5)
Olympist (lvl 7)
Pro Athlete (lvl 9)
---
High School Student (lvl 1)
College Student (lvl 3)
Teacher (lvl 6)
University Professor (lvl 9)
Miskatonic Professor (lvl 12)
---
Vagrant (lvl 1)
Beggar (lvl 3)
Panhandler (lvl 6)
Street Performer (lvl 9)
---
Intern (lvl 1)
Paramedic (lvl 3)
Nurse (lvl 6)
Doctor (lvl 9)
Specialist (lvl 12)
---
Wage Slave (lvl 1)
Manager (lvl 3)
Entrepreneur (lvl 6)
CEO (lvl 9)
Billionaire (lvl 12)
---
Young Indiana Jones (lvl 3)
Indiana Jones (lvl 7 - during Raiders)
Indiana Jones (lvl 9 - during Temple)
Indiana Jones (lvl 12 - during Crusade)
Indiana Jones (lvl 25 - during Refrigerator)

Cool thanks for the ideas!

The spread might seem a little strange because I have 1st level for NPC commoners. Basically 5th level is starting level for players. 10th level is for well trained characters and 15th level is for veterans.

I'm not sure what "named" means.

"Named level" is term back from 1E days. Back in 1E each class had different title associated with each level. For example, a 3rd level fighter was a Swordsman, while a 3rd level wizard was a Conjurer . At about 9th level, the classes reached their peak level and their final title; a fighter garnered the title Lord (and a castle & henchmen), a magic-user (at 11th level) gained the title Wizard, etc.

For example, levels were named thus for the fighter:
1 - Veteran
2 - Warrior
3 - Swordsman
4 - Hero
5 - Swashbuckler
6 - Myrmidon
7 - Champion
8 - Superhero
9 - Lord

The Wizard was:

1 - Prestidigitator
2 - Evoker
3 - Conjurer
4 - Theurgist
5 - Thaumaturgist
6 - Magician
7 - Enchanter
8 - Warlock
9 - Sorcerer
10 - Necromancer
11 - Wizard

Overexplanation for the win! :)
