So far i came up with the idea of a dragons soul being trapped with a gauntlet after its defeat. and the dragon goal was to become the strongest and kill every of dragon and be the only Dragon left.

So the dragon failed horribly in its goal? I'd make it really bitter about that, and while it provides some useful powers I'd have it so that there's a bit of a curse on it too that will cause the wearer to fail at times, so the dragon can revel in the wearer's misery.

Like, the first time the character rolls a critical hit, the dragon magically, spitefully nullifies it, then maliciously mocks the wearer. Then, next time the wearer makes a save, the dragon nulliifies that. I'd make a list of 6 to 10 different conditions like that. When the condition is met, tbe character's success is turned to failure, then you roll on the list to randomly determine what the dragon will cauze to fail next (I'd probably limit the failure to once per rest though)

So far i came up with this

Gauntlet of The Apocalypse Dragon
Wondrous Item, Artifact (Requires Attunement)

Aegis Of the Damned: As a action, the wielder of the Gauntlet is able to summon a set of Plate Armour. While the wielder is wearing the armour, they produce a 15ft aura around them. When a creature starts it turn in the aura or moves into the aura, they take 2d10 Fire Damage as well as 2d10 Cold Damage.

Flesh of Ice and Fire: When attuned to the gauntlet, you gain the following benefits:
You have Resistance to both fire and cold damage.
You don't suffer the effects of extreme heat and cold.

Sentience. The Gauntlets of the Apocalypse Dragon is a sentient Chaotic Evil item with an Intelligence of 16, a Wisdom of 10, and a Charisma of 20. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.

The item can speak, read, and understand Common, Draconic. In addition, the item can
communicate telepathically with any character that carries or wields it.

Personality. The Gauntlet's sole purpose is to eliminate every single dragon in existence and absorb the power of them in order to reach perfection.

Curse: The wearer is compelled to seek out dragons no matter their color or alignment and will attack them without remorse or retreat and against any Odds.
The Player is instantly aware of any dragon within a 10 mile radius, even if it is shapechanged into another being (e.g. humanoid)
If there is a chance to fight a dragon the wearer will forego any other plans or tasks at hand in favor of that.

Classically to get rid of an artefact is not easy, most 2nd ed artefacts had one or more suggested means of destroying them, aka like Frodo throwing the one ring into the volcano.

For you i would suggest that it has to be afflicted simultanously by the breath weapons of five different colored / metallic Dragons.

So e.g. your PCs have to find 5 Dragons willing to do this or eventually ask Tiamat. Given your artefacts Special purpose she might even play along.
