Okay, a quick look through Complete Arcane and Complete Adventurer revealed one or two spells of concern. Hindsight can give fairly detailed information, including the people involved, about what happened at a particular location (60' raduis) within the last 2 to 3 weeks. It is a 9th level spell or 6th bard, so only a handful of really powerful arcane casters have access to it and then someone has to know the particular spell. I'm afraid your best bet with this one is just to say nobody available to the temple has the spell. Of course if you take the True Domination route I suggested in the above post it won't a problem.
Decern Shapechanger is another spell that has the potintial to be a problem if the murder is a shapechanger and still around the temple.
Complete Warrior included the fate domain which has the vision spell, a quicker variant of the Legend Lore spell that is harder on the user.
The Planing domain includes Decern Location which could be a problem once they figure out whodunit. The keys to this one are mind blank is a defense and the caster must have seen the target or have a something that belonged to them. I think if you are careful this one can be of more benefit than harm to your plans.
