need help with namings within this organisation ... please?

for our next game, i've created a bard thats a member of the organisation called The Heralds of Valor. by using their great store of prophecies, they essentially assign members to various groups and individuals who are featured in the prophecies to chronicle their deeds.

i need some help with the titling and naming of the various members of the society, particularly the higher ranking ones. so far, i'm thinking somehting alonghte lines of Keepers or LoreKeepers, or something like that. any ideas?

Bardic heirarchy

Harkener, herald, extoller, singer, cadencer, speaker, skald, to name a few possibilities. Or maybe name them after songbirds. "Lore" connotations bring to my mind images of scholars, clericists and secluded wizards, not bards.

Hmm... well, here's a few ideas.

Runetongue (inspired by the Norse God Bragi)
Summoner (the idea that telling the tales summons up the memory of the past, thus bringing it back to the present)
Loreguard
Wordsmith, to borrow a modern term
Fatespeaker, or Fatecaller, to go w/ the idea of the Heralds' store of prophecies

thanks AFGNCAAP, i like LoreGuard, i'll find a use for that one, and from Fatespeaker, i think i'll use FateKeeper instead. BTW, what does AFGNCAAP mean anyway?

laulaja (finnish word for singer)
tietäjä (again finnish, this is for scholar)

that's fine, i'm trying to detail it's inner workings, in one of the things i really liked about the title FateKeeper, is that, not only does it sound kool but, it can mean one thing to outsiders and quite another to secret guardians of prophecies.

so ... er ... how do you actually pronounce those finnish words, Noldor Elf?

Red Girdle (Marokura)- Highest Ranking Karioi (wore a red feather girdle)
Lorekeeper (Tumu rongorongo)- Master Poet and Orator (Composer of Songs and Dances)
Painted leg (Vae Parae)- Lead Drummer and Dancer, Had right legged fully tattooed
Talesingers - Lead performers
Troubador (Karioi)- The general members of the Troupe
Mummers - Backing singers
Flappers - backing dancers
Clappers - novices who clapped (tapped sticks) to keep time.
