Need help with Shambling mounds and Treant combat techniques

It's not a bonus.

Immunity to Electricity (Ex)

Shamblers take no damage from electricity. Instead, any electricity attack used against a shambler temporarily grants it 1d4 points of Constitution. The shambler loses these points at the rate of 1 per hour.

grants... there's no mentioned limit and the language is different from the typical bonuses and penalties.

Willow Wisps and Shambling mounds. Nice combination. You'll love it.

On the plus side, the con bonus will really only help wild shaped PCs with their fort saves and Con checks, since your hit points don't change with the form's constitution modifier, and I personally wouldn't consider Con gained in this way to be any other kind of bonus.

Where does it say that your hit points don't chage with the form's con mod? I thought in wildshape you aquired the forms CON and all that goes with it. (Was a real pain for my gnome druid who actually LOST HP when changing into a bear due to his con drop...)

Note:
  • It says "any". How many electricity attacks is that? Just one???
  • It's not granting temporary hit points - it's granting points of Constitution - so we can't use the temp. hp examples.
  • This ability is (Ex), and the points are untyped. In fact, they're just "points", rather than a bonus at all. There's no "stacking" issue here.
