Need help with spells for new magic item

I am currently trying to design a left hand for my character who lost his in a trap. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for specific spells that would or may be needed to make it function like a normal hand.

Any help would be appreciated

You should check out Torn Asunder, by Bastion Press. They have some replacement magic item limbs in that book. It's probably just the thing you're looking for.

There are some "graft" rules in the Fiend Folio as well. Of course, good ol' Regeneration will take care of most of your off-hand problems.

Mage Hand, Animate Object, possibly Limited Wish. Or get a cleric to regenerate it.

i am the cleric. I figured i would do the prosthetic hand thing for fun. and thanks for the info guys

IIRC, there's a magic replacement arm in Defenders of the Faith. Something to the effect, perhaps?
