200 orcs, a few giants, and you're a 15th-level druid? Is this a solo adventure? Forget plucking feathers, just get some bird swarms together and have them go at the tribute group. You can pluck whatever the orcs kill, and simultaneously reduce the number of orcs you have to fight later.

Keep in mind, we don't know if that group contains any spellcasters of their own, so I don't want to let overconfidence rule the day. The baron said there were no casters in the tribute gathering group before *that he knew of*, which may be simply because they have not yet had to demonstrate any spellcasting ability.

Our characters also spent 5 years in a prison run by the ruling party. We have a mark that prevents us from acting directly against them so we have to make sure the bandits are not affiliated. We ended up in prison because the previous ruling party sent us off to war when the opposing leader waived his hand and all our magic stopped working.

We have reason to be cautious.
