Need Ideas for Artifacts

Does anyone has some fun, innovative, or just plain cool artifacts of their own design, that they wouldn't mind sharing? Specifically, I am looking for Major artifacts designed with non-evil clerics, monks, sorcerers, and rogues in mind.

I need to place an artifact in my Epic campaign, to give the party a fighting chance against a particularly nasty BBEG.

Hmm.... let's see...

Someone uses Trap the Soul (sucessfully) on a sparkcaster, sticking the sparkcaster in the gem. Ages later, someone mounts that same gem on a ring/amulet/brooch/sword/shield/whatever, and enchants it for something. By a bizzare twist of fate, this gives the trapped spellcaster a way to channel spells into the outside world, as well as a method for seeing the outside world, but only when the item is worn/wielded. Your character has a tame NPC sparkcaster... if the cause lines up with what the trapped sparkcaster wants / the character can make a deal with the trapped sparkcaster / whatever.

Perhaps a Bow that does the Arcane Archer schtick - lets a sparkcaster use the Imbue Arrow ability. Landing an AMF in the right spot is gold when a meatshield is just on the other side with a reach weapon, and has a turn coming up.

Perhaps a little something that ages you considerably quicker while worn, but gives some really nice arbitary bonuses.

Or maybe a watered-down Kryptonite.

What's the BBEG? Makes it a little easier to come up with something that would help out when you have a build to tailor against.

A half-fiend ancient red wyrm, with epic levels of cleric and a devout follower of Erythnul(domains are War and Trickery.) Legend has it that he is Erythnul's key agent in the world, and is responsible for destroying it once already. He has spent the last few decades in human form, serving in Erythnul's secret temple...so the party has no idea what they are *really* up against.

Hmm....

How about something that freezes all transmutation spells, spell-like, supernatural, and Extraordinary effects in a given (largish) radius? Great Wyrm gets stuck in human form ... no claws, no teeth, no breath weapon, and so on. Annoying enough of an item that they probably won't want to carry it around forever, but painful to the Great Wyrm... while still leaving the Great Wyrm with HP, saves, cleric spellcasting, Sorcerer spellcasting, and so on.
 


Clerical artifact
Holy Symbol carried by an important founder of the faith. Greatly Enhances Domain Powers. Can give virtual Divine Feats, spend a Turn/Rebuke Undead, get a butch effect. Increase DCs of Spells by +2 or effective caster level by 1 or 2.

Monk
Monk Outfit that Enhances Stats and class abilities.
