Need ideas on Moradin Pr.Cl. design

First Post
Been trying to design the Soulinnor: a prestige class based on a specialty priest of Moradin. As far as i Know He's the patron and protector of dwarves and has taught them the secrets of the art of the forge and I know no much more. How coul you translate this info on a design of a prestige class?
I have thought of creating an aura of protection similar to "Magic circle vs." style on some levels against some typical enemies of dwarvenkind as goblinoids, giants, and perhaps duergar, derro, drow, dragons and demons.
I have thought of a maybe hard requirement: the possesion of a dwarven thrower warhammer, as this is the tool and weapon of the main god in dwarven pantheon and increasing its powers as the Soulinnor gains levels (maybe recalling it, maybe functioning as a word of recall 1xday,...)
I have thought to design some abilities that empower the different Craft skills or the creation of proper magic items in dwarven culture: armors, weapons, runes,...
I don't know.
But in the end all i have is a foggy image on this, I can't find the body of the idea, the translation in something really cool. Let me explain this: I want a Moradin pr.cl. quite atractive, omething like: "I want to play a dwarven cleric because this pr.cl. is so cool" without being over-powering...
Sooo many doubts....
I wonder if someone feels a strong interest in dwarves and has thought on the design of the Soulinnor and may light up or share any idea on this...

Couple of ideas:
- Use of hammer (throwing, accelerated forging, increased damage...)
- Damage resistance (forged weapons as Moradin is the master of all forges)

Alot of it is going to depend on how you see the church of Moradin involved in Dwarven life. In my campaign, in addition to being the god of crafts and such his priests act as advisors rulers of the dwarves, they interact quite frequently with the upper echelons of the dwarven community.

If your looking at a Prc designed the aspect of crafting then something along the lines of free Skill Focus feats and the ability to reduce the time necessary to craft an item seem appropriate. If you are looking at a Prc designed around crafting rune items then a good place to start is determining which rune system you will be using, the FRCS of MoF (I forget which) introduces rune magic for the Realms, and Relics and Rituals (from Sword and Sorcery Studios) also has a rune system. Once determined, some good abilities for this kind of Prc might be extending their duration or increasing the number of runes they may have going, or which fit on a single item. You don't necessarily want to make every rune engraved permanent.

Just some thoughts

Take a look at the Dwarven Defender prestige class. Think about that class as the dwarven ideal for warriors.

Now what you need to make is the dwarven ideal for clerics.

Take a look at Moradin's domains and give the cleric bonuses based on the domains.

The class should also have a healthy bonus to damaging armor and weapons.....maybe a damage bonus against armored foes? It also shouldn't be limited to Dwarves, but the class would probably have some type of code, since your God is the protector of Dwarves.
