The reason for this whole Psionics=Sorcery thing is that I've never felt quite satisfied in the Sorcerer class rule wise, while I like the Psionics system but wasn't able to really place it in my steampunk world (which was already formed).
If you really like the psionics system for the mechanics, I'd suggest you take a look at Natural 20 Press' Elements of Magic (I like pimping it, even if it's not my work :D), it takes the base mechanics and makes a nice magic system out of it.

can we use feats from Modern D20 for guns and such, what feats are good for pistols, i want to use two weapons, for style and substance
 

Basially just wondering what rules you are going to use for the pistols and such and what feats will apply to them...

Looking at a 5th level Fighter, Fey-Blooded, gunbunny, or perhaps a 5th level Rogue
