Need Ridiculous Monster

WOTC had a short adventure on its site called "Whats Cooking" in which the PCs come face to face with a calzone golem. When struck by a slashing weapon the monster would spray hot juices at the attacker.

I remember that one! :p It was written by Monte Cook, while he was still with WotC. It is actually the only ready-made module I've ever used. As a humorous side-adventure in a long campaing, it was excellent! Especially when the fighter slashed through the crust and was sprayed by hot tomato sauce!

Psionic flying insect. Party walks into a seemingly empty room and the door locks behind them. The insect zips around the room and shows off a bevy of psionic attacks.

I think you probably mean "Something's Cooking", which can be found here.

What level? How about this?

There's a sign over a door or tunnel that says, "BEWARE OF TOODLES."

In the next room is a worg, who happens to speak Common, sitting on a pet bed. If anyone happens to call him Toodles, he corrects them, "I'm Spike. My big brother is Toodles."

Toodles is an advanced (12 HD) three-headed worg with spiked mithril breastplate barding. If necessary, add some Blackguard levels. Hell, add them even if it's not. :)

You ever see the 1e Wolf in Sheep's Clothing? It's a tree stump with a fake fuzzy critter that suddenly sprouts tentacles and eats you.

Boz may know where it's been converted.

Necromancer Games' Tome of Horrors, of course. :) the Wolf-in-Sheep's-Clothing keeps company with many other ridiculous monsters from ages past in that book as well. ;)

if you don't like that option, our very own Creature Catalog site has all of those same creatures plus many more (both ridiculous and non!)
