Need Shadows (~Level 2)

I'd like to have the group fight some Shadows, but they aren't in the MM. Has anybody done a write-up? Preferably something suitable for about a level 2 party, though of course I can always scale down. I'm guessing they should be able to apply a Weakened status effect, but I'm fuzzy on how often and for how long.

Yep.

They're 3rd level, so you can downsize them a tad, but they get the job done.

The_Jester has been doing lot of conversions. Check his other stuff out.

I'm fuzzy on how often and for how long.
Generally when it comes to attacking powers, there are only two forms of duration.

1) Until the target saves.
2) Until the end of the attacker's next turn.

Very nice, thanks. I probably won't bother with downsizing. With radiant vulnerability 10, a party with both a paladin and cleric is going to rip them up but good. Also thinking of adding an effect where the characters' own shadows animate and attack them (as minions) for minor damage.

Don't forget that insubstantial creatures take 1/2 damage from all sources, so that 10 radiant vulnerability is really 5.

Also, I think those shadows have too many hp. Yes, they follow the formula in the DMG, but all insubstantial monsters in the MM seem to have about 75% of the hp the formula says they should.
