If you were to stat up a goat, what would you base it on?

If the former, the goat is about the size of a large breed dog. Use the dog stats and take away the bite attack and scent ability and substitute a 1d4+str slam (headbutt). That should be close enough.

I've kept a few goats in the past as dairy animals. Goats are amazingly powerful creatures for their size. A ram slamming a man in the chest can easily snap a few ribs. If they get that small a damage though probably need free racial feat that improves damage to account for their horns.lukelightning said:1d4 damage?
Goats would probably be small. 1d3-2 damage from their horns.
Unless you are thinking of some special dwarven war-goat or something, in which case you'd be better off making the stats youself, or just take a horse and add horns.
