Need *useful* images

A bunch of the Kalamar modules have player handout images in them of various scenes from the adventures.

Yep. :) Almost all of our adventure modules include several pages of full page and half-page illustrations, showing particular locations and creatures and such, all from the player's point of view. (We call this "ImageQuest.") Aside from hearkening back to the olden days of gaming, it's just an obvious need in some cases. Rather than try to describe a long hallway covered with murals (and some secret switches), the DM can just show the illustration and let the players figure out the puzzle on their own.

Visit The Forge - at my site You can find over 100 pieces of arts including items, locations, and characters.
We avoid drawing illustrations which are useless for players, we only draw illos You can show Your gaming group – check our free PDFs .
Materials included in PDFs consist of two parts. The first one is designed only and exclusively for the DM. In it you can find exact plans, visualizations, ideas, and adventure hooks. The second part is a set of handouts which can be easily printed or presented to players during a session, in order to enrich the description and create a more precise presentation.

Hope it would help

You pick up a lot of images off the image search on Google.

This is what I do. I have one of those DM screens that has pockets on the outside, and I change the images in the pockets to reflect what is going on in the campaign. If the party is in a town, I'll usually have a map in one pocket, but the other two generally are scenery I found on Google.
