Needed: City adventures for campaign

Wrathamon

I am creating a campaign that is based heavily in a city, I have my main plot scenarios already estabished but I need some filler and I dont have the time to work on it since we are starting up soon, so I am looking for any pubished material (web or print) that has great city encounters/adventures.

I have looked at Eberron and Freeport and some of the old D&D thieves world modules and the flying buffalo stuff, I am wondering if there is any D20 products that people can point me in the direction of that might plug and play easily into a D&D campaign.

Most of the adventures I find are rural or dungeons... not a lot of city adventuring. :\

One of the best city adventures out there is (IMO) The Grey Citadel by Necromancer Games. I am not sure how easily it will plug and play, but it is a great mini-campaign/setting/adventure. I have run the aforementioned In the Belly of the Beast and it played well too. If you are into converting BD&D, there is an old B-series module called The Veiled Society that might work.

Thanks and I think I own that one (belly in the beast)... I didnt think that was a city based adventure, guess I will go read it when I get home.

It seems to me that Dungeon has been running a lot of city or town based adventures lately.
Just to recap the handful I have within arms reach:

Dungeon 117: Fallen Angel, takes place in the city of Sharn. Touch of the Abyss, takes place in the city of Istivin.

Dungeon 118 Box of Flumpf, takes place in a sea side town. Shadow of the Abyss, at least partially takes place in the city of Istivin.

I have run the Freeport trilogy. If you plan on running them yourself read all three adventures all the way through several times before hand. This is important. The trilogy is ripe with editing mistakes and map errors and if I remember correctly the three books don't agree on the timeline. I hear there is supposed to be a new edition of these adventures coming out, hopefully they fix these problems.

The first two are already out in PDF form at RPGNow.

Dont forget Bluffside

While it isnt an adventure, Bluffside is packed full of individual Points of Interest that can be easily be dropped into a city based campaign. You can find information about it on our website, as well as a whole lot more POIs and other stuff geared for Bluffside.

The Explorers Guild is expanding Bluffside, releasing POIs and expansion material currently. We also have plans to release adventures and other materials based on Bluffiside that can be used in any city based setting.

Stop by and take a look around.

Thanks.

I agree with Bluffsite. Their Points of Interest (POI) are filled with little ideas for encounters and small adventures that sound perfect for you since you have the main plot already figured out.

...

Thanks Crothian. The kind words are much appreciated.

And how can you go wrong when you have someone with less than 10 posts and another person with over 24,000 posts suggesting the same thing....lol.

Damn.....24,000 posts. :D
