Needed: City adventures for campaign

thanks everyone!

also, I will add that Flying Buffalo had a series of City Books I-V that are awesome... I actually have number 2 and totally forgot about it till I ransacked my box of old rpg books.

Keep em coming I am sure others could use a good list of comprehensive City adventures and seeds.

Here is one

I couldn't find a link for the EN World review of this, but it was very complimentary.

A Splintered Peace published by Penumbra.

Here is the link to the Atlas Website for it:

Basically a great mid level campaign where characters try to broker peace between various political and racial factions within city limits. Lots of great role playing opportunities in here.

Hope you like it.

Urban Blight gets a nod from me. Some really good stuff in there.

But for my money, you can't beat Citybook. I still haven't seen anyone come out with such a wonderful line of books. I used to own 1-4 and used them CONSTANTLY. I still have 1, though, and used it just last session in Barsoom. Fine, fine material in there.

The Lost City of Barakus By Necromancer Games is one damn fine game. It does have a lot of encounters outside the city, but is a good product. The Grey Citadel by the same people is really good as well.

Here is the link to my review of City State of the Invincible Overlord. It is here on ENWorld as well, but the review section of ENWorld is still down. My link to my website works, though.

I also recommend Grey Citadel and Lost City of Barakus, both of which I also reviewed here on ENWorld. If you want village sized also get Morrick Mansion, free right now at drivethruRPG, and it isn't DRM anymore. Ed Cha's Whitehorn books are very good. Starts out with a Vilage and works up to a town of a couple of thousand in the second book. Plus the main encounters are scaled to go up to EL 13, or as low as EL 3.

The Istivin storyline/adventure series in Dungeon does look to be very good. I do intend to run it some day and it is definitely useable as a "city" setting.

Crucible of Freya also has a simple village of a couple hundred people called Fairhill. I also reviewed this here on ENWorld and it is available at 50% off in print and as a pdf at DrivethroughRPG. The print version is at Stiggybaby.

I agree with Bluffsite.

As do I. I'm currently running a Freeport campaign, but since 3.0 has come out I have used numerous bits and pieces from the Bluffside book, in every campaign I have run (including the current one). It's just that portable.
